Leon Bridges will join hands with denim producer Wrangler to celebrate the firm’s 75th anniversary. The clothing brand plans to release 75 exclusive NFTs honoring the Grammy Award-winning singer. These NFTs would be modelled on the signature dance move of the singer and carry more exclusive benefits to the holders. This new move by Wrangler explicates its intention to grow its business in the virtual space.
Wrangler’s NFT drop in Decentraland would be a two-parter, and the first drop would consist of 75 dance move-based NFTs. With a basic bid of 0.3 ETH, these NFTs come with digital apparel to be used in the metaverse, an exclusive pass to Leon Bridges’ concert, and access to the Wrangler online community. The second drop, however, will have a single NFT which is modelled after the design created for Bridges and a physical version of the same outfit. Moreover, the winner of the second drop will get special to the singer’s creations. Apart from these limited access plans, Wrangler will host a grand “Wranglerverse” event in Decentraland with no limitations on attendance.
But what is Decentraland, and why is everyone excited about it? To put it simply, Decentraland is a virtual landscape where one can buy or sell digital landscapes, assets, and properties, establish a business and hang out with their friend. This virtual world even hosted its first-ever metaverse wedding. This blockchain-based metaverse project comes with its own cryptocurrency going by the ticker symbol MANA. The onboarding of bigger names like Samsung, Philipp Plein, and Wrangler has made the coin a profitable addition for many investors.
Other potential use cases, like training and professional development, education, therapy, 3D design, and virtual tourism, might take MANA’s price to the moon.

Decentraland is currently the leading one as far as metaverse projects go. After being in operation for more than five years, this metaverse project is gaining due attention thanks to the boom in the NFT market. Yes, metaverse offers one of the best applications for NFTs. Moreover, a virtual space like Decentraland also allows traditional businesses to establish a base and explore opportunities in the Defi sector.
This recent move by Wrangler gives the best example of the use cases of metaverse projects like Decentraland. However, this is just the tip of the iceberg as other luxury and lifestyle brands like Adidas, Nike, Prada, Ralph Lauren, and Diesel have also expressed their interest in NTFs and metaverse. From its current trajectory, Decentraland could easily acquire a larger portion of this business opportunity, thereby pushing the value of MANA to the moon. Furthermore, the programmability of Decentraland would just be the factor that would invite and accommodate more business opportunities and visionary use cases in the future.
